About Tom Kahre

A Life of Music

Tom Kahre is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer and engineer. Growing up in a musical family he started piano lessons when he was 5 years old. He went on to learn to play the drums and guitar, all the while fostering a passion and talent for singing - which he pursued unwaveringly in high school and into college at Florida State University. Knowing he wanted to work in the music industry and that he had a proclivity for engineering, Tom moved to Los Angeles in 2012 for an internship with Grammy-winning mix engineer Rob Chiarelli, quickly becoming his assistant engineer. In 2015, Tom became a freelance engineer for Paramount Recording where he was a part of Kanye West’s “The Life of Pablo”. This led to becoming a go-to engineer for Good Music and affiliated artists such as Kid Cudi, Desiigner, Pusha T and Big Sean. In 2021, Tom was tapped by the legendary super producer Rick Rubin to work on KE$SHA's critically acclaimed album "Gag Order", on which Tom played multiple instruments across several songs, one of which was the album's single

"Eat The Acid" for which Tom was credited with additional production.
